WELCOME


Old Boys is one of New Zealand's most distinguished rugby clubs. A proud tradition stretching over 100 years has produced some of this country's most well known players including: Bob Deans, scorer of the infamous "try that wasn't" against Wales in 1905, Canterbury's famous halfback/first five pairing, Justin Marshall and Andrew Mehrtens, Aaron Mauger and international star, Dan Carter.

The Polar Bears will try and continue their 7s success at the Woodend 7s. Games begin from 9.30am at Gladstone Park (sign posted from Wooded).

Please make an effort to get out and support the boys.

Training

Preseason Training for Div 1/2 and Colts Grades 6:15 pm (2 hours)

Bob Deans Fields, North Hagley Park  

The first block of preseason training begins on Monday 16 January and will continue every Monday until the preseason games start.

It is open to all players looking at playing Div 1/2 Colts Prems and Colts U20s.

The sessions will be taken by Nathan Mauger and will involve skill drills, anaerobic games as well as a bit of fitness.
